Work in progress: our best and bad practices for inclusive access
At DIALOGMUSEUM, accessibility isn’t a fixed state – it’s a continuous process. Using our new location, opened in autumn 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic, as a case study, we’ll share how we are working to remove barriers in our experiential museum – architecturally, digitally, in communication, visually and within our team. This talk offers an honest account of both our best and bad practices: where we’ve failed, what we’ve achieved and how we’re practically implementing accessibility for a range of different needs. A real-world report on the tension between ambition and everyday practice, followed by space for discussion and questions around implementing accessibility in your own projects.
