Sustainability begins at the planning stage – especially when it comes to events. Lust auf besser Leben will show you how to plan and organise events responsibly and with a focus on the future.

This includes practical measures such as vegetarian, locally sourced catering, avoiding single-use products, ensuring accessible design, promoting climate-friendly travel and working with local and fair suppliers. Whether it's an exhibition, a workshop or a panel discussion – every event can be made more sustainable and encourage responsible action. Using concrete examples, Dr. Jaya Bowry shows you how to successfully implement sustainable practices.

Felix Große-Lohmann will then introduce the initiative Material für Alle, which will be active as part of WDC 2026 to support projects in their sustainable implementation.

Dr. Jaya Bowry ist promovierte Kulturanthropologin und seit über 10 Jahren im Bereich der Nachhaltigkeit aktiv.
