The third event focuses on the theme of FLUIDITY. Selected chamber music works by, among others, Yaz Lancaster, Elis Hallik, inti figgis-vizueta, and Liza Lim explore diversity in nature as well as fluid, continuous transitions, questioning binary normativity. A look at nature alone is enough to recognize that the binary concept of gender is a social construct. Nature cannot be confined to rigid categories—it is infinitely diverse. With this format, we invite our audience to celebrate this diversity and the beauty of nature with us.
The event combines a lecture by the Archiv Frau & Musik with contemporary works performed by the ensemble Broken Frames Syndicate.
#3 is the third event in the concert series “MISFITS’ GAZE | THEIRstory” by the ensemble Broken Frames Syndicate.
The event will be held primarily in German; English translations will be provided.
