Misfits` Gaze | THEIRstory #2 – (UN)SICHTBARKEIT

Misfits' Gaze | THEIRstory is an interdisciplinary, feminist concert series by Broken Frames Syndicate. The interdisciplinary team combines conceptual events featuring curated music programs with research and educational work.

Only works by female and non-binary composers are performed—the programs offer an alternative to social norms and give a voice to those who are too rarely heard.

The second event focuses on the theme of (IN)VISIBILITY. 

Selected chamber music works (for flute, clarinet, bassoon, viola, percussion, performance) will be performed in the middle of the exhibition “Powerful Textures – Language in Textiles” at the Klingspormuseum in Offenbach. It is about what we see and what we do not see, about inscribed traumas and how we read bodies.

The event combines a lecture by the Archiv Frau & Musik with contemporary works performed by the Broken Frames Syndicate ensemble.

#2 is the second event in the concert series ‘Misfits' Gaze | THEIRstory’ by the ensemble Broken Frames Syndicate.

The event will be held primarily in German (with some English) – English translations will be provided.
