MINIMAKE! The creative workshop for children and grown-ups
MINIMAKE is an innovative, open workshop format by MINISCHIRN that creates inspiring creative spaces for children and their accompanying adults. Designed as an accessible and inclusive programme, MINIMAKE is aimed at children from nursery age onwards and the adults who accompany them, including parents, grandparents and other carers.
The workshops focus on exploring, creating, learning and experiencing together. By combining analogue and digital forms of expression, MINIMAKE offers new aesthetic experiences and opens up exciting learning opportunities with cultural, technological and social relevance. Each workshop also draws on themes from the Schirn's current exhibitions, encouraging playful learning within the exhibition context.
Venue: Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, Gabriel-Riesser-Weg 3, Frankfurt am Main

Children's guided tour of the exhibition The World Through AI
For children aged 6 and over
A playful and interactive exhibition tour for children and families, followed by a creative hands-on workshop full of imagination.
This major summer exhibition presents artworks from the past ten years that explore the cognitive, political and ecological dimensions of artificial intelligence. A series of "time capsules" – small cabinets of curiosities – create connections between the present and the past.
After exploring the world of AI and machines, participants will build their own miniature robots using everyday materials. What is your robot especially good at? Does it have a secret superpower? Together with their parents or carers, children will invent amusing and impossible machines.
Admission is included with a valid exhibition ticket for the accompanying adult. Children under the age of 8 receive free admission.
Venue: Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, Gabriel-Riesser-Weg 3, Frankfurt am Main
Meeting point: Foyer
Please note: No advance booking required – drop-in participation is welcome. One accompanying adult may join per registered child. All tickets are available on site. Places are limited.
