Gestalt Error 409 – Design & Diskurs

Gestalt Error 409 is a blog that has been examining, questioning and discussing design practice and theory since 2022. For WDC 2026, there is now a discursive programme in which current and classic questions of design are to be critically and productively examined.

We will discuss topics related to design at the interface between practice and theory in several locations and formats. We will talk about the love-hate relationship with design thinking, the naivety of design education, designing for, with and about nature, but also simply biographies in design.
