As part of the “critical making” conference, we invite you to a WeKitchen Talk. In a relaxed atmosphere, you’ll learn about WeKitchen, an inclusive kitchen. At the same time, we’ll create a space for exchange, connection, and new perspectives.

The founders of WeKitchen (Akpene Therése Gbogbo and Jonathan Radetz) will provide insights into the concept, development, and goals of this inclusive kitchen. It is set to be built as part of Vision 31 at the Kulturcampus in Bockenheim and will be open for cooking events, among other activities, for the duration of its temporary use.

WeKitchen thrives on participation: Feedback, criticism, and new ideas lead to solutions tailored to the diverse needs of its future users.

The talk offers a space for open dialogue, constructive discussions, and collective reflection on how to design inclusive spaces. The goal is to break down barriers and strengthen respectful coexistence.

The WeKitchen will create a public, inclusive space and serve as a tangible example of how kitchen design can actively incorporate diversity. Come by, get involved, and enjoy an interesting event in a relaxed setting!

Wheelchair access and an accessible toilet are available.
