The focus is on making care situations visible that have so far taken place in private. The public is sensitized to these issues, which can improve the situation for those in need of care and their caregiving relatives.

Participatory ways to relieve relatives are demonstrated. Concrete and, sometimes, fictitious home care situations formulated by the participating project members are described and visually represented. The project deliberately initiates encounters and networks among all participants to promote a supportive and solidarity-based community. Visual representations, especially portraits of the people involved, illustrate everyday care activities and give them personal significance.
