Zeichenakademie Hanau
...
TauschBar is a collaborative workshop organized by the Zeichenakademie Hanau together with the Family Academy of the Kathinka-Platzhoff Foundation. The project brings together teenagers, adults, and seniors in an inspiring intergenerational exchange centered around creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage.
The workshop explores how knowledge, traditions, values, and personal experiences can be shared and preserved across generations. Through conversation, teamwork, and creative practice, participants are encouraged to reflect on the meaning of togetherness and the importance of passing on cultural memory in a modern and inclusive way.
In small collaborative groups, participants will design and create a handcrafted “Heritage Piece” — a symbolic piece of jewelry representing connection, memory, and shared experiences. The creative process combines artistic experimentation with meaningful dialogue, allowing participants to learn from one another while developing new perspectives on community and cultural identity.
TauschBar offers a welcoming environment for exchange, participation, and mutual inspiration. No previous artistic experience is required; curiosity, openness, and interest in meeting people from different generations are all that is needed.
The workshop is aimed at adults and teenagers and will take place as an in-person event on June 9, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Participation is free of charge. A maximum of 16 places are available. Registration closes on June 8, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
Register via the link; the event is free of charge.
