Stätten des Drucks
Participatory Stage Discussion: Esther Dischereit × Mara Züst
Esther Dischereit (b. 1952), author of prose, poetry, essays, plays, and radio dramas, is a chronicler of Germany’s history of violence—the Halle attack, the Jena crimes, the consequences of the Shoah. Her most recent novel is Ein Haufen Dollarscheine (2024).
Mara Züst (* 1976), artist, art educator, author, and researcher, works “across and que(e)r” established disciplinary practices. From “Kolkata – City of Print” (2019) to “Intimate Borders of Liminal Love” (2024), she seeks new forms of knowledge at the ends of the world.
The KLINGSPOR MUSEUM explores the linguistic and cultural multilingualism of our time through an analog aesthetic. With more than 80,000 artist books, posters, tapestries, and calligraphic works, it serves as a living archive representing “matters of text.”
PRÄPOSITION was born as a literary space on the internet and today seeks a multimedia, anti-capitalist presentation of text and language. Its non-profit commitment, as well as the commitment of the OFFENBACH UNIVERSITY OF ART AND DESIGN as a learning space for transdisciplinary artistic and design work, form the enduring imperative that brings this festival to life for the third time: text matters.
