Food Forest for Democracy

Spielerisch die Natur begreifen

Together, we’ll explore different edible plants and get hands-on with environmental conservation: we’ll make our own beeswax wraps and seed bombs, and plant a tree pit. Through fun and engaging activities, we’ll share ecological knowledge in line with Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung (BNE).

• For children ages 6 to 12 – free of charge.
• Please bring sturdy shoes, weatherproof clothing (that can get dirty), sunscreen, a water bottle, and a hat.
• A healthy morning snack and lunch will be provided.
• In case of rain, we will move our program indoors.

Together with our local network, we are creating an “urban forest garden” in Frankfurt-Oberrad. As Stadt.Land.Wirtschaft. e. V., we organize our events in close collaboration with DIE KOOPERATIVE eG and supplement our knowledge with targeted input from external experts.
