Food Forest for Democracy

The goal is to make education for sustainable development (ESD) accessible to all while making democratic and ecological futures visible.

Through planting activities, workshops, guided tours, and nature education, participants gain design knowledge and skills essential for sustainable living. At the same time, these educational events contribute to biodiversity, create habitats for insects and birds, and improve soil and air quality in the region.

Participants learn about the importance of nature conservation and healthy nutrition, while gaining insights into the design of urban cultural landscapes. The project highlights the role of systems like forest gardens in enhancing quality of life and demonstrates that Frankfurt is green and generating innovative ideas for a sustainable future.
