Social-Design Workshop #2

Structure & Poetry invites participants to explore a specific location (we will start with the clubhouse in an allotment garden) and try their hand at needs-based design in full-day and half-day workshops. The subtitles “Genius locissimo” (the spirit of the place), “Heritage-based design” (designing with your own origins) and “Pensée sauvage” (wild thinking) describe the main topics of the workshops.

We will test and expand our abilities to observe, combine, design, and communicate in a relaxed atmosphere in the garden complex and with it. Various methods will be presented in short presentations and then implemented extensively in small groups using the materials provided.

Part of the workshops involves us providing for ourselves during the breaks (x3) with food and drinks that are provided.

No specialist knowledge is required – just a willingness to let go of the familiar, embrace the new, and have fun.

The workshops will take place on Thursdays and Sundays, either full-day or half-day, from 10:00 to 18:00 or from 14:00 to 18:00, and will be followed by further locations after the first two dates.

Participation fees range from €20 to €60.
