The second upper floor of the former Dondorf printing works is a unique space with a varied history. It is ideally suited for hosting Genius Loccisimo, a workshop format developed by Schwarm21.

The evening, titled chill & beam, will offer participants the chance to try out a distinctive method of communication and collaboration; working in teams of three, they will first realize a proposed project and subsequently work on their own artistic-poetic ideas to bring it to the public.

The Schwarm21 collective is an initiative by artist Nikolaus A. Nessler that realizes artistic, political, and poetic projects with a rotating lineup of participants. We are pleased to be hosted by 2og for our workshop #3 of the "Structure & Poetry" series on the second floor of the former Dondorf printing work.

We explore structures and patterns in nature, society, and the built environment. Through aesthetic observation, discourse, and playful experimentation, new approaches to one's own creative potential emerge – as an individual poetic exercise and as a shared democratic practice.

At the 2026 Mainuferfest in Griesheim, visitors are invited to reconstruct (STRUCTURE) artistically (POETRY) a bridge that was removed a few years ago but remains important to the neighborhoods. Any constructive, imaginative, and creative contribution is welcome. Soft drinks for free.

Many existing spaces, such as clubhouses, are currently empty. What kind of design and use would meet today's needs, and what could enrich the sense of community within an established structure? This workshop will develop creative solutions to these questions.
