- Re-Negotiating Space
- RNS#3 | New Soundscapes for Urban Ecologies — Co-creating the Post-Anthropocene
Kultur einer Digitalstadt e.V. hortopia.org
...
Space is negotiated acoustically long before it is negotiated on plans. Every soundscape is a shifting settlement between geophony, biophony and anthrophony—and wherever human populations shrink, these proportions begin to move. Listening thus becomes an instrument of re-negotiation: it makes audible who claims space, who withdraws, and who returns. Which new narratives emerge from these changing balances, and how might we co-create the soundscapes of a post-anthropocene urbanity?
