MATERIALS & ARCHITECTURE NIGHT

We cordially invite you to an evening at the Spanish Design Pavilion – a walk-in installation that brings together organic design forms, materials, and craftsmanship from Spain in a precise spatial context.

The focus will be on an exchange about architecture and materials within the tension between long-term transformation and temporary intervention – accompanied by cava, tapas, and conversation in the garden of the Instituto Cervantes.

DRAC transforms the garden of the Instituto Cervantes into a temporary, urban space for reflection. Inspired by Antoni Gaudí, the installation combines wood, ceramics, and textile elements into a light, modular structure that bridges craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Central to the event is the question of how architecture responds to existing contexts – between permanent transformation and temporary placement.
