Caamaño & Ameixeiras

Their contemporary interpretation of traditional music has established the duo Caamaño & Ameixeiras as a leading force in the new Galician music scene. Since 2018, Sabela Caamaño Pérez (accordion) and Antía Ameixeiras Cundíns (violin and vocals) have been performing throughout Europe and have enjoyed an intense career. With an impressive, meticulously crafted, and daring stage presence, they have already performed at numerous major venues, including with artists such as Rodrigo Cuevas. In 2025, they received the award for Best Galician Song from the Academia de la Música de España.

Together, the institutions combine economic and cultural expertise and promote exchange and cooperation between Spain and Germany within the framework of World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026.
