We meet in the square, drink hot tea, chop vegetables, and cook together for everyone. The small fire warms our hands and our conversations.

While the bread on sticks roasts, the branches turn to charcoal – becoming the foundation for wonderful new terra preta soil, which stores nutrients and water especially well – ready for the green structures with planting tubs in the coming year.
