After Solidarity is a playspace for adults where imagination is challenged as a political tool. Artist and choreographer Grace Euna Kim presents this new participatory performance in cooperation with de_colonialanguage. It is an immersive and interactive performance co-created by the audience, leading into a collective discussion and sharing of reflections.
As anti-migrant sentiment is ever more on the rise across Germany and Europe, we question how conflict-based ideologies take root in individual and collective bodies, and explore the possibilities to transform them.
After Solidarity is guided by the questions:
- How can we imagine a world beyond violence, when we are ingrained in the systems that reproduce it?
- How can we embody solidarity without producing new forms of exclusion?
- How can we empower resistance without producing new forms of oppression?
