World Design Organization

Every two years, the title of World Design Capital® (WDC) is awarded by the Canadian World Design Organization (WDO)®.

WDO is an international non-governmental organization and the global voice for industrial design. The organization advocates for design for a better world by promoting and sharing knowledge about innovation driven by industrial design that improves economic, social, cultural, and environmental quality of life. Today, WDO counts over 215 member organizations representing thousands of industrial designers around the world.
