Unsichtbares erFAHRbar machen

The project by RSV Pumpe e.V. opens up new perspectives on urban mobility, social participation, and hidden urban experiences.

The project kicks off with an event at the association’s clubhouse in the heart of Darmstadt, featuring participatory formats, creative activities, and dialogue to make the association visible, inspire exchange, and invite co-creation. This is followed by a large hands-on day in the association’s workshop, offering the opportunity to make bicycles roadworthy together, share practical knowledge, and promote mutual support—low-threshold, inclusive, and open to all. The final phase consists of one to three guided bicycle tours, inviting participants to explore hidden places, projects, and perspectives of Darmstadt—accompanied by short talks and discussions. Start and finish is our clubhouse workshop, serving as a place for reflection and exchange.

The project addresses the general public—free of discrimination, cross-generational, and open to all. The bicycle becomes a tool for movement, visibility, and participation.
