MFA – Material für Alle

Materials from various industries are passed on at reduced prices instead of being discarded. Since the end of 2019, MFA has been a central platform for reusing materials from the arts and cultural sector in the Frankfurt RheinMain region.

Artists, designers, and WDC 2026 projects benefit from these resources—creatively, sustainably, and cost-effectively. Through reuse, participation, and resource conservation, MFA promotes a sustainable cultural practice and strengthens democratic values through cross-disciplinary collaboration.

As part of our WDC Academy: Planning and Implementing with Responsibility, Felix Große-Lohmann presented the initiative, which will be active during WDC 2026 to support projects in implementing sustainable practices.
