The workshop KInspiration – AI and Design in the School Context empowers students aged 14 and up to explore social issues using AI and to develop practical solutions for greater environmental and social sustainability (e.g. within their school) through an AI-supported design thinking process—from problem definition and idea development to prototypical implementation. Students engage with the fundamentals and applications of text- and image-based AI, practice prompt crafting, and reflect on ethical aspects of working with AI.
In addition to the workshops, professional development for teachers is offered.
Applications for the workshops are expected to open for schools in spring 2026.
Further information about the project can be found at www.deutschesdesignmuseum.de.
The free guide and additional teaching materials can be found at www.designwissen.net.
The project is funded by the PwC-Stiftung.
