The Corner is Speaking

In a four-day workshop, participants work with Ukrainian artist Natalya Radünz to create a walk-in art object—a democratic cornerstone—using their own words, thoughts, and images.

The children will collaborate on a real exhibition project, developing messages about the values of democracy and expressing them artistically. The object consists of two panels at a 90° angle, decorated with powerful terms on the outside and mirrors and reflective questions on the inside. On the last day, the artwork will be presented as part of a small presentation.

A special part of the workshop is a small survey on the question: "What does democracy mean to you?" Depending on their age and the educational approach, the children can either talk to each other or to adults.
