Grenzen in der Freiheit

Isabel Blessing-Peest explores the diversity of the countries of origin represented at the BBK and in Frankfurt, and their understanding of democracy.

The artist invites visitors to engage with ideas about the state and the individual, human rights, democracy on the internet, tolerance, and coexistence through artistic expression. The democracy dialogue in the BBK Gallery is thus also an open art workshop where everyone can try their hand. Even the youngest visitors have their say: by designing masks and participating in a puppet theater, they experience the self and the collective.
