Panel 3: Becoming Parents:
Parenting Between Reality and Social Media
10:00 – 12:00

Viktoria Rösch (sociologist at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences) together with Janine Bächle (photographer and editor of the publication *Becoming Parents*). Q&A and discussion with the audience.

In her long-term photography project, Janine Bächle depicts her family’s everyday life in a raw and unvarnished way. She documents the changes in her body and explores the full emotional spectrum of becoming a parent.

Viktoria Rösch conducts research on representations of women and motherhood. Her work focuses on right-wing visual politics, such as the iconization of anti-feminism on social media, using the “tradwife” figure as an example.

Panel 4: Care as an Artistic Practice
13:30 – 15:30

Dr. Jessica Ullrich (visiting professor of art history and aesthetics at the Münster Academy of Fine Arts) and Jelena Rothermel (coordinator of the Archiv Frau und Musik). Followed by a discussion with the audience.

Jessica Ullrich examines how contemporary female artists are rethinking care as an interspecies relationship (Interspecies Care). The works on display extend this concept of care to human-animal relationships, revealing tensions such as intimacy and violence.

Jelena Rothermel discusses archival work as a form of care. Examples from the Archiv Frau und Musik demonstrate how, particularly in feminist archives, this care work extends not only to the media but also to their creators and mediators—the artists.
