- StopfBar – Kleidung gemeinsam reparieren
Circular Experience, Design Studio Peter Post × Petra Esveld eGbR
...
A favorite sweater with a hole? Worn elbows? A torn seam? Most of us have clothes we would still love to wear—if only they were repaired.
The StopfBar is a place to learn exactly that. Together, we explore mending, patching, and visible mending techniques that extend the life of our clothes. Repairs don’t have to be hidden; they can become beautiful design elements that add character and tell a story.
Whether you are a complete beginner or already experienced with needle and thread, everyone is welcome. It’s a space to experiment, ask questions, share knowledge, and learn from one another.
Beyond practical repair skills, the StopfBar is about community, creativity, and the satisfaction of making things yourself. Small repairs can lead to surprisingly beautiful results—and help us value and use our clothes for longer.
Bring your damaged clothing and join us in giving well-loved garments a second life.
Dreh Dein Ding is an initiative by Circular Citizens of Wiesbaden that promotes repair, reuse, and circular economy practices across the city. StopfBar takes place at WerkRaum Wiesbaden and is led by Birgit Reimann (tagtraum-tragen) and Jan-Micha Gamer (jm Design-Studio).
