G10 Project Space opens its doors with Shared Matter as part of the WDC: Two different projects will be created in a collaborative, collective process involving various participants.

Together with das blumen e.V., G10 Projektraum will implement a co-curated project. Since 2006, the blumen association has been staging events in constantly changing urban spaces in Darmstadt, thus opening up new perspectives on places that have previously been used for different purposes. One of the association's goals is to repurpose vacant and public spaces in such a way that people and culture come together. Such a community is also to be created in the cooperation between G10 and das blumen. In close collaboration, content and formats will be developed that can be performative, installative, discursive, participatory and/or intermedial. The presentations can take place on the premises of the two cooperating associations or in public spaces.

In Shared Matter #2, ideas, materials, knowledge and actions are shared. The focus is on the creative process – in other words, what emerges when artistic work is understood not as a solo project but as a movement.
