The Art of Protest (Intermediate)

Session #5

In The Art of Protest (Intermediate), we use artistic means to develop our own forms of protest and actions. Drawing on social and political issues, questions and demands, we spend two months creating costumes, sculptures, dances, installations, chants and much more.

We meet once a week in May and June to give shape to our concerns – from brainstorming and development to implementation. The artists Asja & Jonathan will guide us through the protest projects, which can be developed individually or in groups. There is space here to engage in conversation, find mutual support and try things out. The Art of Protest remains a space where racism, homophobia, sexism and other forms of hate have no place.
