Artist Sarah Hachem opens her studio every Tuesday from 5–7 pm, inviting visitors to get a glimpse into her artistic process and join a conversation about neighborhood life, the district, and industry in Höchst.

Sarah Hachem creates installations in which objects, sounds, and architectural elements come together in unexpected constellations. Within these spaces, different forms of knowledge and perception overlap, setting spatial and social structures into motion.

As part of the project Office for Artistic Surveying (Amt für künstlerische Vermessung), Sarah Hachem explores how industry shapes the everyday life of a neighborhood and what traces it leaves behind in its materials. A circulating system of River Main water, pipes, washbasins, and collaboratively made soaps connects materials, people, and stories from Höchst.
