The newly renovated St. Michael’s Funeral Church in Frankfurt am Main will host the installation On Becoming and Passing Away 2 by artist Ulli Böhmelmann.

For this unique church space, Ulli Böhmelmann has created a site-specific installation featuring porcelain objects—some suspended and others placed on the floor—that explore the themes of transience, transformation, and memory. Her delicate interventions engage with the architecture and atmosphere of the site, opening up new spaces of perception between becoming and passing away.

The exhibition opens on October 6, 2026, at 18:30.
