Ein "Indoor-Friedhof" – mitten im Leben!

St. Michael's Church offers a unique opportunity to explore themes of death and grief within the school setting. This event for teachers and other interested individuals will allow participants to visit the church and experience its atmosphere firsthand, accompanied by the presenters.

The subsequent seminar will provide time to reflect on the impact of this extracurricular learning environment, which can also be visited with students, and to develop ideas for further exploration of the themes of dying, death, and grief within the school context. Especially in a multicultural and multireligious city like Frankfurt, this offers a chance to discuss funeral rituals and their meaning, as well as interreligious aspects of mourning and burial. Supporting teaching materials will be presented.
