The innovative ensemble BaroqueLAB Frankfurt sets out on a musical journey of discovery through Frankfurt.
On July 11, 2026, chamber music works by composers who lived and worked here will be performed at three unconventional venues in the heart of Frankfurt. BaroqueLAB invites audiences to join a musical tour of discovery.
Audience members can create their own individual concert walking tour: Three stations — the City Library, the vaulted hall of St. Paul’s Church, and the historic Fischerhallen beneath the Old Bridge on the Frankfurt side — can be flexibly combined. At all three stations, chamber music programmes will take place at:
- 11:30,
- 12:30 and
- 13:30
featuring works by Ferdinand Ries, Niccolò Paganini, Georg Philipp Telemann and others — composers who significantly shaped Frankfurt’s musical life. The programme is accompanied by engaging short introductions featuring historical anecdotes and eyewitness accounts of the composers’ lives and works, bringing the music, composers and venues vividly to life.
