Aquanauten Werkstatt in den Fischerhallen 1

As part of Off the Wall, the Fischerhallen Frankfurt and the Aquanauten-Werkstatt are opening their doors and inviting people of all ages to take part in a free workshop.

The historic canals leading to the Fischerhallen will be depicted on the floors and walls. Passers-by will thus be able to gain a visual impression of the Fischerhallen even after the workshop has ended. Furthermore, new bridge structures can be designed, built and tested using lightweight materials in the shadow of the Alte Brücke. No registration is required to take part.

The former Frankfurt Fischerhallen are an interesting place. Here, history, nature and urban culture intertwine. Their location right on the River Main and their historical connection to fishing, waterways and supply make them THE place to draw a link to climate justice: access to clean water, the impact of climate change on water bodies, ecosystems and cities worldwide – and what does this have to do with us?

The Umwelt-Exploratorium e.V. is a non-profit association founded by design colleagues. U-X provides environmental education with the aim of empowering people to think critically beyond boundaries in order to tackle the issues of today and tomorrow.
