At Wiesbaden's Harvest Festival in the Warmer Damm park, we show how design can shape sustainable recreation and nature experiences. Discover our new trail network for walkers, hikers, cyclists and wheelchair users.

At the traditional Harvest Festival in Wiesbaden's Warmer Damm park, RheinTaunus Nature Park presents its new recreational trail network. Around 2,500 kilometres of trails are being developed for walkers, hikers, cyclists and people with reduced mobility. Design means more than new signs: routes, orientation, digital information, accessible infrastructure, sustainable materials and visitor management form one integrated system. People should be able to explore their nature park as independently as possible, according to their interests and abilities. At the same time, sensitive natural areas are protected, existing infrastructure is used efficiently and recreational mobility becomes more sustainable.

The digital leisure portal complements the trail network and connects landscapes, places, activities and mobility. Municipalities, associations, volunteers and users contribute to its development.

The Harvest Festival in the Warmer Damm park is part of Wiesbaden's City Festival. Farmers from the region take part alongside associations, organisations and public authorities connected with agriculture. RheinTaunus Nature Park is a long-standing participant and will present its WDC project "Recreational Trail Network in RheinTaunus Nature Park".
