Erinnern und Erfinden: Fotografie als Objekt

Artists Katya Selezneva and Vladimir Seleznev join curator Irina Denkmann for a conversation exploring how photography exists as an object. The discussion will examine how the photographic object acquires its own identity, creates an experience of presence, and functions not only as a medium of memory but also as a means of constructing it.

The talk will explore the ways in which photography generates its own temporality, as well as the tension between the documentary nature of the archive and constructed image-making, situating the artists’ work within the broader themes of Handle with Care
