The guided tour through the former working-class district of Rödelheim offers a multifaceted perspective on the neighbourhood’s ecological, architectural, social, and industrial developments.
Beginning with the station gardens and the ecological landscaping around the S-Bahn station, the route continues to distinctive architectural features such as the rescue slide and the garden pavilion of the New Building movement. Further stops include the Wöhler House, the biochemistry building, social housing projects, and traces of industrial history, most notably the former Torpedo factory complex with its multiple phases of transformation.
