To complement the interactive panel discussion on 14 October at the Hub, wīlāri invites you to explore the project and its ideas at your own pace.

How can we engage with what is already there? What if historic buildings were not merely preserved, but reimagined and brought back to life? The exhibition presents wīlāri – Fachwerkweiler 2.0 – the rediscovered heritage and the underlying manifesto with its 10 theses. It offers insights into the project concept and opens up a space for reflection on the intersection of building culture, heritage conservation, craftsmanship, sustainability, communal living and future forms of coexistence.

The ten theses of the manifesto are not intended as definitive answers, but as an invitation to challenge, reflect further and help shape the project. Some of the project’s initiators will be present during the exhibition and will be available for discussions and questions. Visitors can learn about the ideas behind wīlāri, engage in conversation with the initiators and contribute their own perspectives.

The exhibition thus serves as a preview, an in-depth exploration and an invitation to discuss the topics surrounding the panel discussion on 14 October.
