Common Ground

The focus is on the idea of reclaiming the street as a collective meeting place and bringing visions of a car-free city to life.

Common Ground strengthens local networks, activates neighbourhoods and visitors, and highlights the diversity of the district. The programme consists of participation and contributions from neighbouring businesses and cultural initiatives, as well as concerts, DJ sets, snacks and drinks. Common Ground is an experiment in fostering greater togetherness in public spaces and a taste of what a car-free city could feel like.
