Common Ground

das blumen e.V., together with other Darmstadt-based initiatives and organizations, transforms a section of Saalbaustraße into COMMON GROUND. They make it tangible how lively, creative, and open neighbourhood life can be when people share and use public space together.

With music, coffee, cake, waffles, snacks & drinks, workshops, small stalls, and fun for kids, the programme offers something for neighbours, families, friends, and visitors alike. The aim is to strengthen local networks, activate the neighbourhood, and make the diversity of the district visible.
