HOTLINE, a project of Integrative Drogenhilfe e.V. (idh), provides counselling and support to sex workers in Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel, addressing their specific safety, health, and hygiene needs.

One of the key issues the project responds to is the lack of safe accommodation for women* who use drugs. No women's shelter currently accepts women who are actively using substances, even when they are in immediate need of protection. As a result, many have no option but to return to street-based environments where they remain exposed to violence and exploitation. There is also a severe shortage of hygienic and safe spaces for sex work, while women-specific healthcare, hygiene products, and counselling services remain difficult for the project's clients to access.

Building on the existing information materials and communication formats developed by HOTLINE, the Kiosk of Solidarity is creating new media and public engagement formats. These are designed both to reach affected women directly and to raise awareness among the wider public about the specific precarity faced by sex workers who are also affected by substance use.
