Urban Now
Actionday Urban Now Lab
Design begins in the midst of life. The Urban Now Lab understands urban spaces, the objects within them and communication in urban spaces as part of an open, changeable real-world laboratory full of opportunities.
Together, we want to find out: How do we want to live, work, communicate and interact here in the future? Urban spaces become more vibrant when planning meets creative development by local people. Design is a tool for negotiating social issues, opening up spaces and creating new connections. Contribute your ideas and skills! Take part in Urban Now Mapping and the workshops on our Action Day to highlight good places and ‘non-places’ and work together to develop new placemaking solutions for them.
We are launching the Urban Now Lab and inviting people from the fields of communication, property and space, as well as associations and professional planners. We also invite all interested residents, visitors, entrepreneurs, local restaurateurs, real estate agents and urban planning politicians in Frankfurt, especially those with a connection to François-Mitterrand-Platz and Hauptwache/Zeil.
