VAIRPLAY

A unique, inclusive sports and culture park is taking shape beneath the Kaiserlei Bridge in Offenbach – the first of its kind in the region. Instead of cars, the space will soon be filled with people moving, gathering, and enjoying themselves. With barrier-free access, the park is open to everyone, offering a spacious, vibrant meeting place across 10,000 m².

The project VAIRPLAY supports Offenbach’s sports development plan and sets new standards for leisure and public space design. In collaboration with VAIR e.V., students from the Offenbach University of Art and Design developed various concepts for the site in 2023 – set to be implemented from 2025 onwards. This new space brings Offenbach and Frankfurt closer together, while enriching the urban landscape and strengthening a sense of community.
