Stadtteil gestalten – Demokratie gestalten – Gestaltung demokratisieren

Shaping neighbourhoods – shaping democracy – democratising design addresses topics related to the design of our environment.

While these topics cannot provide standalone solutions to all the challenges posed by changes in our society, environment, technology and economy, they do address issues in this regard. The participatory formats are designed to teach action-oriented approaches for collectively shaping processes, developing inclusive solutions and bringing about social change.

The topics covered in the lectures and workshops include generational justice, ecology, transformative justice, playful movement and encounter, art and performance, democratisation of the neighbourhood through appropriation of spaces and more.
