Stadtsalon BHF4

The Stadtsalon BHF4 (Bahnhofsviertel) regularly invites local stakeholders to participate in an open, low-threshold forum to initiate small-scale interventions in collaboration with the Frankfurt City Coordination Office.

The aim is to create a permanent democratic space for creative ideas on the future of the station district, bringing together and integrating different groups of people in a discourse. One example is a collaboration with the Kiosk of Solidarity and a planned workshop at Karlsplatz before and during the construction site, which is to be financed by a discretionary fund from the city planning office.

The Stadtsalon provides a communicative framework that enables interventions such as these. Active participants in the station district are regularly informed via an email distribution list.
