Rooftop Day Frankfurt x World Design Capital 2026: Setting Sights on the City of Tomorrow

As part of Rooftop Day Frankfurt 2026, World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 invites the public on June 6 to experience the city of tomorrow from fresh perspectives. During Open – Design Week, visitors can look forward to a diverse programme centered on design, architecture, and urban development.

On the terrace of the Jewish Museum Frankfurt, a key future-oriented project takes center stage during Rooftop Day: the planned Culture Mile along the historic Wallanlagen green belt. Representatives from city politics – including Dr. Markus Gwechenberger, Dr. Ina Hartwig, and Tina Zapf Rodriguez – will offer insights into current planning initiatives.

Additionally, guided tours of selected high-rises – organised in cooperation with the German Architecture Museum (DAM)—will provide fascinating insights into Frankfurt’s high-rise architecture.
