Looking forward, das Morgen gemeinsam gestalten: Wie KI unser Bild von Bildern verändert

The series of events at the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt ties in directly with the motto ‘Design for Democracy. Atmospheres for a Better Life’: it addresses the central question of how trust, orientation and judgement can be ensured in an age when images are easier to produce but more difficult to classify.

It is about the responsible use of visual information. And about shaping a public image culture that remains reliable. In a lecture, a discussion panel and a workshop, we will explore how generative AI images accelerate imaging processes, expand aesthetic patterns and shift authorship. Examples from art, advertising and everyday communication illustrate the opportunities and risks. The focus is on clarity and understanding: What is changing technically? What is changing culturally? And what does this mean for photographers, designers and viewers?

The Fotografie Forum Frankfurt (FFF) is a unique centre, which exhibits photographic art of the highest quality. Since 1984 the FFF strives to incorporate all aspects of photography and to provide a platform for critical dialog. Through a wide-ranging programme of exhibitions, publications, workshops, lectures, presentations and symposiums, the ever evolving and classic interpretations of the photographic medium are highlighted.
