Lincoln Wall Jam

The Lincoln Wall Jam is an urban art and culture festival that has been firmly established in Darmstadt and the Rhine-Main region for ten years.

At its core is the desire to create an urban space where people—regardless of origin, gender, age, or social status—can experience graffiti, urban art, and hip-hop together. The Lincoln Wall Jam brings together over 100 artists from the Rhine-Main area and across Germany to design the more than 600-meter-long legal graffiti wall—the Lincoln Wall. Numerous acts and DJs provide musical accompaniment, creating a unique atmosphere.

In addition to creating an urban cultural space, the Jam emphasizes active participation in graffiti and hip-hop. Interested participants can engage with graffiti in workshops and gain hands-on experience. Open-mic sessions offer newcomers the chance to showcase their skills on stage. A key focus of the Jam is low-threshold participation for all citizens of Darmstadt. Entry controls, ticket purchases, or other barriers are deliberately avoided to ensure access for as many people as possible.
