Learn & Burn 2026

The Women of DDC are committed to increasing the participation and impact of women* in all processes and decisions within the design industry and its fields of influence.

Action is needed both in agency and client contexts as well as in major decision-making processes that shape our environment and society—today and in the future. To this end, an exchange will take place with German and international women’s networks in the design sector. The project explores how participation and visibility can be strengthened across different areas: How do networks organize themselves? Where and how do they increase the presence of women? Which strategies support access to influential positions and their sustainable use? How can impulses for real transformation be set? To give this important topic an appropriate platform, the Women of DDC will host a major Learn & Burn event in 2026. In May 2026, representatives of international women’s networks will be invited to learn from each other, develop ideas, and initiate change. The goal is to share best practices, gain inspiration for individual work, raise the visibility of the topic, and amplify its impact across the industry. At the same time, the event aims to promote lasting international networking and mutual empowerment—because true change can only be achieved together.
