KULTurCAMPus Wiesbaden

2026

Kulturzentrum Schlachthof Wiesbaden e.V.

The KULTurCAMPus in Wiesbaden is intended to unite existing cultural institutions in the Kulturpark Wiesbaden under a single roof and expand them through new concepts and spaces.

This aims to secure the existence, continuity, and growth of these cultural institutions, provide low-threshold access to cultural programs, and create participatory approaches for the cultural organizations as well as “guided free spaces.” Through workshops, panel discussions, and other participatory event formats on site, the Schlachthof Wiesbaden seeks to actively involve artists, users, city policymakers, and citizens in shaping the KULTurCAMPus. In this way, the democratic planning and design process becomes tangible and experiential.

The Wiesbaden Schlachthof is a collectively run non-profit association that has developed since 1994 into the largest socio-cultural centre in Hesse and one of the most important venues in Germany. Other participants: ‘Kreativfabrik’, Skatehalle, ‘Kultur im Park’ and ‘Kontext’.
