BEST HIGH-RISES. Internationaler Hochhauspreis 2026/27

The International Skyscraper Award 2026/27 showcases a selection of current skyscraper projects from around the world that stand out for their forward-looking design, functionality, innovative construction techniques, integration into the urban fabric, sustainability and cost-effectiveness.

The exhibition in the German Architecture Museum Frankfurt showcases all the nominated buildings. The winner, to be announced at the awards ceremony in Frankfurt’s Paulskirche in November 2026, will be featured in the exhibition alongside the finalists and nominees, illustrated through models, large-format photographs, drawings, texts and films.

The International Skyscraper Award (IHP) is organised every two years by the German Architecture Museum (DAM) and DekaBank, and is presented as an official award of the City of Frankfurt. The IHP is regarded as the world’s most prestigious architecture prize for high-rise buildings. The event will be broadcast via live stream.
